Tania Bettis, Paula Burch, and Rajan Mutialu
Fundraising Chairs
The Fundraising Chairs are involved in the behind-the-scenes organization and planning of the various fundraising events throughout the year. These events include yard sales, craft sales, dinners at supporting restaurants, bowling in Albany, an event with the Buddy Club, and of course our annual silent and live auction gala.
Tania Bettis has a third grader at Crestmont and a preschooler. She recently received her Ph.D. in Psychology from UC Berkeley, and brings to the Fundraising Team her skills in grant writing and data management. Currently, Tania is a lecturer at UC Berkeley.
Paula Burch and Rajan Mutialu served for two years on the fundraising team at Kensington Nursery School, a parent-run cooperative. Their daughter is a first grade student at Crestmont. Paula earned a Masters Degree in Social Welfare from UC Berkeley. She is currently a Program Manager for the Elders’ Learning Community, a small non-profit that matches volunteers with seniors in West Contra Costa County. Rajan earned a Masters Degree in Public Health from UC Berkeley and is currently an Energy Policy Analyst at the California Public Utilities Commission. He is an avowed foodie, political and travel junkie, and loves to play soccer and music.
